From the very beginning of Motorweek we had a saying, that the cars are the stars. But when you test 150 cars a year it’s hard to have a favorite, but I do have one; the Porsche 928. Now the last one we tested was a ’93 928 GTS. It was coming to the end of it’s life and it had not gone over well with Porsche fans because the engine was in the front and it drove the rear wheels, but I loved that car, it’s the quintessential GT. It was fast, it had great handling, it was comfortable, a wonderful sounding V8 and that’s the sports car I always wanted to own.
